NONSENSE • NEWEL • NONDESCRIPT
Some days seem completely nondescript.
Nothing extraordinary happens.
No grand adventures.
No dramatic stories to tell.
Just ordinary moments quietly passing by.
Then, out of nowhere, someone says something so wonderfully nonsense that you burst out laughing.
Those unexpected moments have a way of brightening an otherwise ordinary day.
Even a simple newel post on a staircase has a purpose.
Most people walk past it without giving it a second thought.
Yet it helps support every step we take.
Perhaps people are a little like that too.
Not everyone stands in the spotlight.
Some quietly support others without asking for recognition.
So today, I won’t underestimate the ordinary.
The seemingly nondescript days.
The little acts of kindness.
Or even the nonsense that makes us laugh until our cheeks hurt.
Because sometimes the simplest moments become the ones we remember the longest.
