Day 23 – What’s something you used to tolerate but now you no longer will?

People who don’t respect my boundaries.

For many years, I was what I call a “nice girl.” I found it difficult to say no and often put other people’s needs before my own.

Not anymore.

I’ve learned that protecting my peace isn’t selfish. I no longer tolerate people who constantly drain my energy, lie to me, or expect me to sacrifice my own wellbeing just to keep everyone else happy.

Life has taught me that kindness and strong boundaries can exist together.

I’m still a caring person, but I’ve also learned that “no” is a complete sentence.

Growing older hasn’t made me less compassionate.

It’s simply taught me to value myself as much as I value others.
