When the Planets Hold a Meeting
Some days I’m convinced the planets gather around a cosmic table and ask,
“Who’s turn is it to test Maggie today?”
Mars volunteers to steal my patience.
Saturn reminds me that every lesson apparently needs a sequel.
Mercury decides communication is overrated.
Uranus changes the plans I’d just finished making.
And Pluto quietly smiles from the corner, knowing transformation rarely asks permission.
Meanwhile…
I’m just over here, upside down, juggling life’s surprises, hoping none of the balls hit me on the head.
Then I remember—
I’ve survived every conjunction, opposition, eclipse, and retrograde before.
So I straighten my invisible crown, catch another ball, and whisper,
“Is that all you’ve got?”
