The old wooden table had seen more conversations than anyone known.

I nodded.
It wasn’t anyone’s fault.
Life simply carries us down different roads.
There had been arguments over money, dreams that never quite matched, and days when we were both too irritated to hear what the other was truly saying.
Yet beneath all the noise, one thing remained.
Kindness.
It was the one thing we had kept, even when everything else seemed uncertain.
I looked at the flowers and suddenly felt excited.
Not because the past could return…
but because tomorrow still held the promise of something beautiful.
Sometimes the greatest change begins with a gentle hand, a quiet heart, and the courage to let love speak louder than silence.
