Day 21 – What’s the last thing you do before you leave the house? And why?
The very last thing I do before leaving the house is check on my pets.
I make sure the cats have their window open so they can come and go as they please, and I check that Bella has everything she needs before I leave.
Only then do I lock the door, get in the car, and drive away.
I can’t fully relax if I’m wondering whether they’re comfortable or if I’ve forgotten something.
They’re part of the family, and making sure they’re safe and happy is simply part of my routine.
Once I know everyone at home is taken care of, I can leave with peace of mind. 💜🐾
