MLMM Monday Wordle #485

The Bench in the Middle of Town

The town was already awake.

People hurried past, running toward meetings, buses, and expectations, while I carried an invisible weight called anxiety.

It whispered that something was wrong, even when everything looked perfectly ordinary.

I found an old bench beneath a tree and sat down.

Beside me was a small wooden box, worn by time.

Inside, someone had left a simple message:

“You have survived every difficult day before this one.”

I read it again.

And again.

The sound of birds slowly replaced the noise inside my mind.

For the first time today, I noticed the sky was full of drifting clouds, and the breeze carried the scent of summer.

Perhaps healing doesn’t arrive all at once.

Perhaps it comes half a breath at a time…

…until one day you look around and realize the world was never asking you to be perfect.

Only present.
