What do you see # 349- 13 July, 2026
One More Turn
The sun lowers slowly,
painting the horizon
in ember and gold.
Against it,
the Ferris wheel keeps turning—carrying strangers upward,
then gently bringing them back.
For a few quiet minutes,
each carriage reaches the top,
where the world looks smaller
and worries seem farther away.
Then comes the descent.
Not an ending,
just another part of the circle.
What I see
is life in
motion—
joy and fear,
rising and falling,
light returning
each time we think it has gone.
The wheel does not resist the turning.
It trusts the rhythm.
Perhaps that is the lesson
we are not meant
to stay at the highest point forever.
We are meant to notice it,
breathe it in,
and remember—
even after the darkness arrives,
the lights still come on.
