All Jelly

Your Friday prompt for Stream of Consciousness Saturday is “jelly.”

The Friday Reminder and Prompt for #SoCS July 11, 2026

Jelly.

That’s probably going to be me tomorrow.

Not because I’m eating jelly, but because Norway is playing England in the World Cup!

I already know what I’ll be like.

Checking the clock every few minutes.

Trying to stay calm.

Pretending I’m not nervous.

Then the whistle blows…

and suddenly my stomach turns to jelly.

Football has a funny way of doing that.

For ninety minutes, emotions take over.

Every pass matters.

Every goal feels like a heartbeat.

Whatever happens, I’m incredibly proud of our Norwegian team. They’ve worked hard to get here, and that’s something worth celebrating.

So tomorrow I’ll be cheering from my sofa with fingers crossed, hoping for the best.

Ro, ro, ro…

Heia Norge! ⚽🇳🇴💜

With love, coffee, poetry, and stardust,
