Mercury Retrograde – Day 2 👻⚖️
Day 2 it was the mysterious bathroom scale.
Day 3, my husband’s phone decided it had had enough of life in the Canary Islands and apparently suffered a heat stroke. 🥵📱
The phone became so hot that we had to retire it, and both SIM cards have now been transferred to his tablet.
At this point, Mercury retrograde seems to be working its way through the house, one device at a time.
Current retrograde scorecard:
Day 1: Television split itself in two… but Norway still won! 🇳🇴⚽
Day 2: The bathroom scale kept turning itself on while the Spirit Talker joined the conversation. Maddie’s response? “If you’re staying, we need to charge rent!” 👻😂
Day 3: My husband’s phone overheated so badly it practically asked for early retirement.
I’m now looking nervously at the coffee machine…
Please, Mercury, not the coffee! ☕
On a serious note, Mercury retrograde reminds us to slow down, back up our devices, double-check the little things, and remember that sometimes all you can do is laugh.
Because if we don’t laugh…
…we’ll probably cry when the next appliance joins the rebellion!
