VICTORY • VENOM • VEST

Not every victory comes with applause.

Some victories happen quietly.

Choosing peace instead of anger.

Walking away from an argument.

Forgiving someone who never asked for it.

Refusing to let venom settle in your heart.

Life will always give us reasons to become bitter.

But it also gives us the choice to become better.

So today, I imagine wearing an invisible vest.

Not one that protects me from the rain or the cold,

but one woven from hope,

compassion,

courage,

and self-respect.

It won’t stop every hurt.

But it will remind me who I choose to be.

Because the greatest victory isn’t defeating someone else.

It’s refusing to let bitterness defeat you.
