Sunday Poser # 293- Grown to appreciate
What is something you’ve grown to appreciate as you have grown older?

Time.
When I was younger, I thought life was about getting somewhere. Now I realize it’s about being present while you’re getting there.
I’ve also learned to appreciate the simple things—a quiet morning, a cup of coffee, a heartfelt conversation, the comfort of my family, the love of my animals, and the beauty of nature.
As I’ve grown older, I’ve become less interested in possessions and more interested in moments. Moments become memories, and memories stay with us far longer than anything we can own.
I’ve also learned to appreciate peace. Not the absence of challenges, but the kind of peace that comes from accepting what I cannot control and trusting my own path.
Growing older hasn’t made life easier, but it has made me wiser.
And for that, I am grateful.
With love, coffee, poetry, and stardust,
