The Path Knows
The path never promised to be easy.
It only promised to lead somewhere.
Between hedgerows and open fields,it winds with quiet confidence, asking nothing more than one step after another.
From a distance,it seems impossibly narrow.
Up close, it is exactly wide enough for hope.
The trees release me, the meadow welcomes me, and the horizon keeps its gentle mystery.
I no longer need to see the destination.
Some journeys reveal themselves only to those willing to begin.
So I follow the path—
not because I know where it ends,
but because something in my soul recognises the way.
