Three Things Challenge #MM472

OVERSEE • OCEAN • OWL

There is something about standing beside the ocean that quiets my mind.

The waves remind me that life is always moving, even when I feel as though I’ve been standing still.

Sometimes I try to oversee every detail, every possibility, every “what if.”

But the sea has a way of whispering,

“You don’t have to control every wave. You only have to trust yourself to navigate them.”

Then there is the owl.

For many people, it represents wisdom and intuition.

For me, it has become something deeply personal.

Whenever owls seem to appear—in pictures, artwork, or unexpected places—I pause for a moment. They remind me of Liam and bring me a quiet sense of comfort, as though I’m being encouraged to keep going.

Whether we see them as symbols, meaningful coincidences, or gentle reminders, they invite us to pay attention to the present moment and to trust our inner knowing.

Today, I choose to release the need to oversee everything.

To let the ocean teach me how to flow.

And to smile whenever an owl crosses my path.

Thanks for using the 3TC Maggie.
We are 600 yards from the sea, and often hear an owl in the evenings.

That must be amazing to hear them so close 😍.

I was used to that in Norway, here there is no owls.

When we lived in the cottage, we had a family of tawny owls perched on the silver birch tree at the end of our garden. We think the parents were teaching their youngster to hunt as there were fields directly behind us, so plenty of mice!

That’s understandable. Not always so easy taking pictures of wild animals.
