FFFC #375 – Finding My Voice
Finding My Voice
As a child, he didn’t know anything about perfect pitch.
He didn’t worry about sounding polished or hitting every note.
He simply opened his mouth and sang.
He sang because the song inside him refused to stay silent.
Years passed.
People told him to be quieter.
Not so loud.
Not so different.
Not so emotional.
Little by little, the world’s opinions became louder than his own voice.
Until one day, he found himself standing in front of a microphone again.
He took a deep breath.
Not to impress anyone.
Not to become famous.
But to rediscover the child who once believed that every song deserved to be heard.
The microphone didn’t judge.
It simply listened.
And perhaps that’s all any of us really need—
someone, or something, willing to listen while we find the courage to become ourselves again.
Maybe that’s what a microphone truly is.
Not just a piece of equipment.
A bridge between the heart and the world.
A reminder that every voice matters.
Even the one you’ve been afraid to use.
Sing anyway.
The world has enough echoes.
It needs your voice.
With love, coffee, poetry, and stardust,
