What’s a piece of media (book, movie, song) that changed how you see the world?

For me, it was the Nancy Drew books.
When I moved from the UK to Norway as a child, learning to read wasn’t easy. I was behind my classmates because I was adapting to a new language, and at times it felt frustrating.
Then I discovered Nancy Drew.
Those stories didn’t just teach me to love reading—they awakened my curiosity. Every mystery invited me to look a little closer, ask more questions, and believe that every puzzle had an answer waiting to be found.
Book by book, my confidence grew. Reading became something I looked forward to instead of something I struggled with. Before long, I was exploring all kinds of books, from history and mythology to astrology, folklore, and poetry.
Looking back, Nancy Drew opened the first door.
It showed me that books can transport us to new worlds, challenge the way we think, and inspire us to keep learning throughout our lives.
Sometimes, one book is all it takes to turn a reluctant reader into a lifelong explorer.
With love, coffee, poetry, and stardust,
