JETTY • JAVELIN • JUVENILE
There is something beautifully juvenile about returning to the seaside.
No matter our age, we suddenly want to skip stones, collect shells, and watch the waves as though we’ve never seen them before.
Standing on a weathered jetty, I remembered that growing older doesn’t mean we have to stop wondering.
It simply means we’ve gathered more stories along the way.
Life sometimes hurls challenges at us like a javelin.
Some we dodge.
Some we catch.
Some leave us stronger than we ever imagined.
Yet somehow, the child within keeps whispering:
“Come on… let’s watch one more sunset.”
Perhaps that’s the real secret.
To grow older without growing old.
To keep curiosity alive.
To laugh often.
And to never lose the part of us that still finds magic by the sea.
