Just Rojie – Day 23

Just Rojie – Day 23
How do you write your posts? Do you freestyle it or do you create an outline?
My writing process always begins with one essential ingredient:
☕ Coffee.
Before the words, before the ideas, before the photographs and notebooks, there is usually a Café Leche Leche LARGO sitting beside me.
Once I’ve had my first sip, I read the prompt and let it settle for a while.
I don’t usually create a strict outline. Instead, I start brainstorming. A memory may surface. A photograph may call for attention. Sometimes I browse through old family albums, and other times I create new images with AI to capture the feeling I want to express.
I also have many saved drafts waiting patiently in the background. Some are only a title, some are half-finished thoughts, and some have been waiting months for the right prompt to bring them to life.
Then the magic happens.
One memory leads to another. One photograph unlocks a story. One sentence becomes a paragraph.
Before I know it, the post begins writing itself.
So I suppose I am neither a planner nor a complete freestyler.
I start with curiosity.
I gather memories, images, thoughts, and inspiration.
And then I trust the words to find their own way.
After all, some stories arrive with an outline.
Mine usually arrive with coffee.. ☕💜
With love, coffee, poetry, and stardust,
