What’s a common misconception people have about happiness?

That happy people are happy 24/7.
Honestly?
No one is.
We are human.
Life happens.
There are hard days, grief, stress, worry, exhaustion, and moments where simply getting through the day is enough.
I think happiness is more like a garden.
You have to tend to it.
Water it.
Care for it.
Protect it.
And sometimes…
Pull away the bad growth that steals energy from the good things trying to bloom.
Some seasons are beautiful.
Some feel cold and difficult.
But that does not mean the garden is gone.
It simply means it needs care.
So no…
I don’t think happiness means smiling every second of every day.
I think happiness is found in moments.
A cup of coffee.
Music.
A sunset.
Laughter.
A quiet moment of peace.
Little things that remind us life still holds beauty.
With love, coffee, poetry, and stardust,
