Reena’s Xploration Challenge #435
Numinous

It arrives without warning.
Not with thunder, or voices from the sky, but in quiet moments when the veil between worlds seems thinner than breath.
A shaft of sunlight through a chapel window.
The sudden feeling that you are not alone.
A feather appearing exactly when your heart needed reassurance.
The numinous cannot be measured.
It refuses proof.
Yet those who have felt it carry the memory forever.
I have found it in music, in silence, in the hush before dawn when the world has not yet remembered its noise.
I have felt it standing beside the sea, watching the horizon dissolve into light, and in those rare moments when love feels larger than the people holding it.
The numinous is not something we possess.
It is something we encounter.
A reminder that beneath the ordinary flows a deeper current.
Invisible.
Ancient.
Alive.
And for a heartbeat, we remember we are part of it.
