Write your guide to setting healthy boundaries in relationships.

For me?
It begins with one simple thing:
Communication.
Because no one is a mind reader.
Healthy boundaries are not about building walls.
They are about creating understanding.
About being honest about what hurts, what matters, and what you need.
Sometimes that means saying:
“No.”
“I need time.”
“That hurt me.”
Or simply:
“This is not okay.”
And yes…
Boundaries can feel uncomfortable at first.
Especially if you are used to putting everyone else first.
But healthy relationships need:
Respect
Honesty
Listening
Communication
Space to be yourself
The right people will not punish you for having boundaries.
They will respect them.
Because love should feel safe.
Not exhausting.
Not controlling.
Not something that costs you your peace.
Communication is the key.
But respect is the lock that keeps relationships healthy.
