What’s that one song that you keep going back to when you’re in a funk?

Only one song? 😂

That feels almost impossible.

If I’m honest, when I’m in a funk, I tend to time travel straight back to the 90s Eurodance era.

Music has always had a way of shifting my mood, waking up memories, and reminding me of who I am underneath the heavy days.

My go-to songs are:

🎵 Mr. Vain — Culture Beat (Instant energy boost)

🎵 Flying High — Captain Hollywood Project (Because sometimes the soul needs lifting)

🎵 In the Middle of the Night — Magic Affair (A forever favourite from my DJ days)

🎵 Poker Face — Lady Gaga (Because sometimes you just need to turn the volume up and stop overthinking)

There’s something about Eurodance — the beats, the nostalgia, the memories — that still knows exactly how to shake the dust off a bad day.

Sometimes healing sounds suspiciously like 90s dance music played way too loud. 😂
