Leisurely
Some moments are not meant to be rushed.
Not coffee at sunrise, not waves kissing the shore, not the quiet comfort of a favourite song playing softly through an ordinary afternoon.
We spend so much of life counting hours, chasing deadlines, measuring worth by how busy we appear.
But healing—healing arrives leisurely.
Like wildflowers blooming without asking permission. Like old wounds softening when we finally stop fighting ourselves.
Perhaps peace was never late.
Perhaps it simply walks slower than worry.
So today, I will move gently.
Sip my coffee while it is warm. Watch the sky changing colours. Breathe without apology.
And for a little while, let time unfold at its own leisurely pace.
