Where Light Learns to Dance
No shoreline.
No horizon.
Just water— wearing sunlight like scattered jewels.
A thousand small stars
rest upon the waves,
breaking, reforming,
never asking permission
to shine.
The sea does
not hold light.
It borrows it,
plays with it,
lets it shimmer briefly before giving it back.
What I see
is a reminder
beauty is often movement.
Not something fixed.
Not something
we can keep.
Only something we witness—
for a moment,
heart open,
before it changes shape again.
And maybe healing
looks a little like this too—
light touching the darker places,
softly, repeatedly,
until even the smallest wave begins to glow.
