How do you handle fear and self-doubt?

Honestly?

I have had to face fear many, many times.

And if I’m being real…

First, I usually freak out a little 😅

Then I roll up my sleeves and face it anyway.

Because life has taught me that courage is not the absence of fear.

Sometimes courage is simply moving forward while shaking.

Fear, I have learned to face.

Self-doubt?

That one is harder.

Too many old experiences. Too many negative comments that still echo around in my head sometimes.

The old stories.

The old “truths” we start believing about ourselves.

Those can be difficult to silence.

So when self-doubt shows up, I try to breathe through it.

Slowly.

Patiently.

And remind myself that not every old voice deserves a seat at my table.

Some truths belong to the past.

Some fears were never mine to carry forever.

So I keep learning to gently chase those old shadows away.

One breath. One step. One brave moment at a time.

With love

This is beautifully honest and deeply comforting Maggie. I think so many people imagine courage as standing tall without fear, when in reality it often looks exactly like what you described – trembling hands, a racing heart, and still choosing to move forward anyway.

And the part about self-doubt lingering from old voices… that truly stayed with me. “Not every old voice deserves a seat at my table” is such a powerful reminder. Sometimes healing is not defeating every shadow at once, but quietly refusing to let it define us anymore.

One breath. One step. One brave moment at a time – that is more strength than most people realize. 🤍
