Some truths arrive softly.
Others crack open the sky.
By morning, the mirror still held her reflection—
but for the first time,
she stopped apologising for the woman staring back.
Because today
wasn’t asking her to become someone else.
Only to remember who she had been before the world taught her to shrink.
