What’s a movie you expected to hate but ended up loving?

Without a doubt…

The first Harry Potter movie.

I honestly didn’t think they would pull it off.

When you love the books, there is always that little fear:

“What if they ruin the magic?” 😅

I had already fallen in love with the world through the books, and I wasn’t sure the film could ever live up to what I had imagined.

But then…

My oldest son was around 12 years old, and we went to the cinema to watch it together.

And somehow…

The magic worked.

Not only did I love the first movie, but we also went to see the next three films together.

And honestly, those memories became just as special as the story itself.

Sometimes a movie surprises you.

And sometimes it quietly becomes part of your family memories too. ✨⚡
