The word of the day is Whipper-snapper

In response to Alice DeForest word prompt: https://wp.me/p9Zf6z-2xC

Whipper-snapper

Now there’s a word that sounds like someone causing chaos before breakfast 😂

Usually said with a raised eyebrow and a little sigh—

“That young whipper-snapper!”

The kind who thinks they know everything, move too fast, speak too loudly, and somehow have endless energy.

Funny though—

every generation has had its whipper-snappers.

The young ones questioning rules. Trying new ways. Rolling their eyes at “back in my day…”

And perhaps that is not such a bad thing.

Youth arrives with fire.

Curiosity. Boldness. A little rebellion.

The kind that shakes dust off old ideas.

Of course—

age brings wisdom too.

The trick, perhaps, is remembering

we were all someone’s whipper-snapper once.

With love
