Gosh.

Such a small word for enormous feelings.

The kind that escapes your lips before your mind has caught up.

Gosh— life moves quickly.

Gosh— how did we get here?

Gosh— I survived that?

Sometimes wonder sounds surprisingly simple.

Not every miracle arrives with fireworks.

Sometimes it is morning light.

A text saying, “Are you okay?”

A memory that hurts less than it did before.

A laugh returning unexpectedly.

Maybe “gosh” is the soul’s quiet pause—

standing still for a second

between disbelief and gratitude.

And honestly—

gosh—

what a strange, beautiful, heartbreaking, magical thing it is to be alive.
