Erratic

Some days 
life moves
like calm water.

Predictable.
Gentle.
Easy to trust.

And then—

without warning—

everything becomes 
erratic.

Thoughts racing.
Emotions shifting.
Plans collapsing
before they have
the chance to breathe.

The heart
has seasons
the mind
does not always understand.

Healing
is often erratic.

Grief too.

One day
you are laughing.

The next,
a memory
pulls the floor
from beneath you.

People expect
progress
to look like
a straight line.

But souls
rarely move
that way.

We spiral.
We pause.
We stumble.
We begin again.

Even stars
move through
chaotic skies
before finding
their rhythm.

So if today
feels 
scattered,
messy,
unpredictable—

maybe
you are not broken.

Maybe
you are simply
moving through
an erratic season of becoming.

And that,
too,belongs
to the journey.
