The word of the day is Tip Toe

In response to Alice DeForest word prompt: https://wp.me/p9Zf6z-2xh

Tip Toe

Tip toe.

Soft steps.

The quiet way we move when the world still feels fragile.

Not every journey arrives with loud footsteps.

Sometimes healing tip toes in.

Hope too.

Slowly. Carefully. Barely noticed at first.

A small smile after sadness. A deep breath after worry. The moment you begin again without fear needing to fully disappear.

We tip toe through hard days.

Through uncertainty. Through change. Through grief.

And yet— even tiny steps still move us forward.

Perhaps there is strength in gentleness.

In not rushing. In letting yourself move slowly when life asks for softer feet.

Because progress does not always roar.

Sometimes— it simply tip toes in.

With love

This has got to be one of the most beautiful poems I’ve ever read! Even though we’re going through hard days and grief, but those quiet, mellow, silky-smooth footsteps still move us forward. So mesmerizing! 👍☺️

Happy it resonates, even when it’s a hard topic with grief.
