The Day a Land Rover Became a “Temu” Car 🤣
Sometimes the funniest moments happen completely out of nowhere.
Yesterday, I was driving with my youngest daughter, Alex, and one of her friends, Gabi.
Nothing unusual.
Until… we drove into a parking garage.
There, parked proudly in a space, stood a car that made Alex pause mid-sentence.
She squinted.
Tilted her head.
And then, with complete confusion and teenage honesty, said:
“What fucking car brand is that?”
Now, before I could even answer…
Comes the driest reply imaginable from her friend Gabi:
“Temu.”
No hesitation.
No explanation.
Just…
“Temu.”
I nearly lost it. 🤣🤣🤣
The poor car — apparently a Land Rover Defender 90 — looked like someone had taken a normal SUV and simply…
cut the back off.
Like:
“Congratulations! Your full-sized car has been reduced to travel size.”
It looked like the budget version of itself.
Like someone ordered a Defender online and got:
“Defender-ish.”
Or:
“Land Rover… but make it compact.”
Teenagers are brutal.
And hilarious.
I swear, half my entertainment in life now comes from accidentally overhearing Gen Z observations.
Poor Defender.
Poor Temu.
And poor me…
trying not to laugh while driving. 🤣
