Peaceful

Peaceful does not always mean silent.

Sometimes peace sounds like rain against the window after weeks of inner storms.

Sometimes it is laughter returning softly to a tired house.

A deep breath without fear attached to it.

A nervous system finally believing it is safe to rest.

There were years I thought peace had to be earned.

That I had to fix everything. Heal everyone. Carry every burden without trembling.

But peace is not a reward for exhaustion.

It is a necessity.

A sacred pause between surviving and living.

The world will always try to pull us into noise.

Into urgency. Into anger. Into endless motion.

But the soul was never made to bloom inside constant chaos.

Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is choose softness.

Choose stillness.

Choose to protect the quiet parts of yourself.

And maybe peace is not found somewhere far away.

Maybe it begins the moment you stop declaring war on your own heart.
