Word of the Day — 13.05.2026
In response to Alice DeForest word prompt: https://wp.me/s9Zf6z-engine

Engine.
The thing that keeps everything moving.
Machines have engines. Cars. Planes. Ships crossing oceans.
But people have engines too.
Not made of metal and fuel—
but hope, purpose, love, survival, and sometimes pure stubbornness.
There are days when your inner engine runs smoothly.
Ideas flow. Energy rises. Life feels possible again.
And then there are days when everything sputters.
Burnout. Exhaustion. Stress piling up like dust inside unseen gears.
Even engines need maintenance.
Rest. Care. Silence. Moments away from pressure.
No machine can run endlessly without overheating.
Neither can a soul.
Funny thing is— the strongest engines are not always the loudest ones.
Some people quietly carry entire worlds without anyone noticing how hard their hearts are working.
Parents. Caregivers. Artists. Survivors. People fighting invisible battles while still showing up for life every day.
That takes power too.
Perhaps your engine does not need more speed.
Perhaps it simply needs kindness. Patience.
A chance to breathe again.
Because surviving is not weakness.
Continuing despite everything—
that is strength.

With love
