What’s a thing you were completely obsessed with as a kid?
As a child, I was completely obsessed with “glansbilder” — those beautiful vintage scrap pictures we collected in Norway.
Little angels, flowers, hearts, animals, and dreamy Victorian children with golden curls.
We kept them carefully inside special albums and traded them with friends like tiny treasures. Some were shiny and embossed, others soft and delicate like something from a fairytale.
I could spend hours arranging them, looking through them, and choosing favorites.
There was something magical about them.
And maybe that is also why I still love angels today. 😇
To me, angels have always felt connected to comfort, protection, innocence, hope, and the feeling that something gentle exists beyond what we can see.
A little piece of childhood wonder never really leaves us.
