Induce

To cause
without force.

A quiet influence.
A shift
that begins
almost invisibly.

A thought
leading to another.
A feeling
slowly unfolding.

A thought
leading to another.
A feeling
slowly unfolding.

Not sudden.
Not loud.

But gradual.

Because some changes do not arrive all at once.

They are induced—through atmosphere,
through energy,
through repetition.

A mood.
A memory.
A presence
that alters
the space around it.

And sometimes…
we do this
to ourselves.

Inducing fear.
Hope.
Calm.
Wonder.

Feeding certain thoughts
until they grow roots.

Which is why
what surrounds us
matters.

What we listen to.
What we absorb.
What we allow
to shape
our inner world.

Because influence
is rarely obvious
while it is happening.

Yet slowly…quietly…

it changes everything.
