This week, our weekend challenge is Collapsible.

Collapsible

Some days
I feel collapsible.
Not broken —
just foldable beneath the weight
of too many thoughts,
too many memories
stacked carelessly against the heart.
People think collapse
arrives loudly.
But often
it happens quietly.
In unanswered messages.
In tired eyes.
In the silence after pretending
you are stronger than you feel.
Even buildings collapse slowly first —
small fractures hidden inside the walls
long before anyone notices.
But collapsible things
can also be carried.
Stored gently.
Opened again when the storm has passed.
Maybe that is resilience.
Not standing endlessly untouched,
but learning
how to bend
without losing yourself completely.
And perhaps the soul
was never meant to stay rigid.
Even wings fold.
