Advice to a New Blogger

My advice would be: don’t just write to be seen — write to be felt.

Many people will scroll, press “like,” and move on. That’s the nature of the online world. But if you want your writing to truly matter, create something that lingers after it’s been read.

Write with honesty. Write with depth. Write something that touches a thought, a feeling, or a memory in someone else.

And don’t underestimate the power of comments.

Comments build your blog community. They are where connection happens — where your words meet another person’s voice. Take the time to reply, to engage, to create a space where people feel seen and heard.

Because blogging isn’t just about posting.It’s about connecting.
