💫Daily Prompt  Word Press

Do you vote in political elections?

Since we moved to Spain,I haven’t really voted.

Partly because not every election is open to you when you’re not from the country.

And partly…because I don’t feel I understand Spanish politics well enough.

And I think that matters.

Voting, to me, is not just something you do—

it’s something you should do with awareness, with understanding, with a sense of what you’re choosing.

Right now, I’m still learning, still observing, still finding my place in a different system.

Maybe one day that will change.

But for now…

I’d rather be honest about what I don’t know than pretend I do.
