Weekend Writing Prompt #466

Persuasion does not always arrive loud.
Sometimes it is a whisper,
threading softly through doubt,
turning the heart one quiet degree at a time.

I have felt it—
not as force,
but as a gentle leaning toward truth,
a knowing I could not argue away.

The strongest pull is not command,
but invitation.
A door left slightly open,
a light left burning.

And somewhere between hesitation and trust,
we step forward,not because we must,
but because something within us
has already said yes.
