In response to Fandango’s One-Word Challenge: https://wp.me/pfZzxd-uow

Helped.

Such a small word—
but it holds
so much.

A hand
reaching out.

A moment
when someone stayed
instead of walking away.

Help
doesn’t always arrive loudly.

Sometimes
it’s a presence.
A quiet understanding.
A simple “I’m here.”

And sometimes…
we don’t even realize
we needed it
until it’s given.

To be helped
is to be seen—
not fixed,
not changed—

just supported
for a moment
in the middle
of everything.

And to help…
is to offer that space.

No answers required.
No perfection needed.

Just connection.

Because in the end—it’s not always
what was said or done…

but the fact
that someone
was there.
