The Strength in Letting Go
Y is for Yielding.
A word that can feel like surrender…but is often misunderstood.
Yielding is not weakness.
It is not giving up. It is not losing yourself.
It is choosing not to force what is not meant to be pushed.
There is a quiet strength in that.
In a world that tells us to fight harder, push more, hold on tighter…
Yielding asks something different.
To pause. To breathe. To listen.
To recognize when something is no longer flowing…and to step back instead of breaking yourself trying to make it work.
Yielding is trust.
Trust that not everything needs resistance. Trust that some paths unfold when we stop trying to control them.
Like water…
It moves around obstacles. It doesn’t fight every barrier. It finds another way.
And in that, there is wisdom.
For me, yielding has been a lesson.
In life. In emotions. In the journey I’m on.
Not everything needs to be forced into place.
Some things need space.
Some things need time.
Some things need to be released.
And when we allow that…
Something softer enters.
Something more aligned.
“Y is for Yielding — the quiet strength of knowing when to soften instead of push.”
With love
