Toward the Light, Together
They don’t face us—they face something brighter.
Silhouettes stitched from shadow, edges softened by distance, by mist, by whatever waits ahead.
It’s hard to count them. Hard to separate one from another. Because in this light, individuals blur—and something else forms.
A gathering. A movement. A quiet agreement to walk forward.
What I see is not fear of the dark—but trust in the glow they cannot yet name.
Some walk close. Some keep distance. Two groups, maybe—or just one finding its shape.
Because when the light is strong enough, we stop asking who leads and who follows.
We simply go.
Together—into what ever is calling us forward.
