Where Music Began
X is for Xylophone 🎶
Not the most common word…but one that carries a memory for me.
It was one of the first instruments I played in school.
Simple. Colorful. Almost playful.
And yet…
There was something magical about it.
The way each note had its own place. The way the sound felt light, almost like it was dancing.
Tap by tap…note by note…
Music began to make sense.
The xylophone may seem small. Basic, even.
But sometimes that’s where everything starts.
With something simple. Something accessible. Something that quietly opens a door.
For me,it was one of the first moments I felt connected to sound.
To rhythm. To expression.
Looking back, that little instrument held more than I realized.
It was a beginning.
With love
