A foundation 
is not always seen.

It lies beneath—holding,
supporting,
carrying what stands above.

It is built slowly.
Layer by layer.
Choice by choice.

Sometimes
it is shaped
through strength.

Sometimes
through struggle.

The things
that shake us
often become
what steadies us.

I have learned
that a strong foundation
is not perfection.

It is truth.

What we stand on
when everything else
feels uncertain.

And when the world shifts—
as it always does—
it is the unseen parts of us that keep us standing.
