Friday Fictionary

He framed the moment carefully—coffee, fruit, morning light.

Simple things. Safe things.

On the tablet, the old photograph waited: a man in a worn coat, pointing somewhere beyond the frame, as if trying to show something no one else could see.

He lifted his phone, capturing both—now and then—without quite knowing why.

When he looked back at the screen, the image had shifted.

The man was no longer pointing outward.

He was pointing… at him.

Some memories don’t stay still.

They wait… until you’re ready to be seen.

Lovely. We all secretly want images to move and live a life of their own

Hello, the fantasy twist was a fun element – and I really liked this part “capturing both—now and then” because it fit the image so well
