In response to Stine’s simply 6 minutes: https://wp.me/pbhg2m-8nb Today’s prompt is:Today is International Moment of Laughter Day!

It starts with one.
A laugh that escapes before it’s fully formed, unexpected, almost shy — and then it catches. Someone else joins in, then another, until the moment grows bigger than any single person in it. Laughter doesn’t ask permission. It just arrives.
I think we forget how powerful that is.
How, for a few seconds, everything loosens. The worries step back. The heaviness lifts just enough for breath to return. Even the body remembers something it almost forgot — how to feel light.
There’s no perfection in it.
Teeth showing, eyes closing, heads thrown back without thinking. It’s messy and loud and completely real. No one is performing. No one is hiding.
That’s why it heals.
Because in laughter, we drop the armor without even noticing. We become unguarded, connected, human again. Not who we think we should be — just who we are in that exact moment.
And maybe that’s enough.
Not fixing everything.Not solving anything.
Just sharing one honest sound…and remembering we are not alone.
