Invasive

There are things that don’t knock before entering.

They slip through cracks, crawl beneath doors, settle in spaces that were never meant for them.

Invasive.

Not always loud. Not always visible. But always felt.

A thought that isn’t yours. A voice that lingers too long. A memory that roots itself where healing tried to grow.

Some invasions don’t come with warning signs. They come disguised as concern,as love,as something familiar enough to trust.

Until it isn’t.

I have learned that not everything that enters belongs.

That boundaries are not walls of cruelty—they are doors with intention.

That I am allowed to choose what stays, what leaves, and what never gets to take root inside me.

Because once something invasive settles,it doesn’t just visit—it tries to grow.

And growth,when forced,is not life.

It is survival in disguise.

So today, I reclaim my space. Quietly.Firmly. Without apology.

Not everything deserves access to a soul that is learning how to bloom again.
