Horizontal

A position of rest.

Of stillness. Of surrender to gravity instead of resisting it.

We spend so much of life upright—moving,doing,holding ourselves together.

Standing tall. Pushing forward. Reaching upward towards everything we are trying to become.

But horizontal…is different.

It asks nothing of us.

No performance.No strength.No effort to keep going.

Just…be.

To lie down is not defeat.

It is return.

To the body. To the breath. To the quiet rhythm we often forget to hear.

It is where exhaustion softens. Where tension loosens its grip. Where thoughts begin to slow.

We do not always need to rise.

Sometimes,we need to rest.
