In response to Di’s Daily Prompt: https://wp.me/p3RSgb-wqb

Not all truth arrives gently.
Some of it is blunt—clear, unpolished, cutting through illusion without asking permission.
And yes…sometimes it feels brutal.
The kind of knowing that doesn’t soften itself for your comfort. The kind that asks you to see what you once avoided.
I used to resist that.
Wrap things in softness, delay the moment, hope the truth would reshape itself into something easier.
But truth doesn’t bend like that.
Still…there is something sacred even in its sharpness.
Because the most honest moments—the ones that strip everything back—are often the ones that lead you to your best self.
Not the polished version. Not the perfect one.
But the real one.
The one who can stand in clarity, even when it stings—and still choose to grow.
So today,I don’t turn away.
I meet it.
The blunt truth. The brutal clarity.
And I trust that somewhere within it is a path toward something better.
Toward something truer.
Toward the version of me that no longer needs to hide 💜
