Hallway

A hallway is in between. Not a beginning. Not an end.

But the space that connects.

Doors line the walls—some open, some closed, some waiting to be discovered.

We pass through hallways more often than we notice.

Moments between decisions. Breaths between changes.

The quiet space before something shifts.

I have learned that the in-between is not empty.

It is where we gather ourselves. Where we listen. Where we prepare to step through the next door.

And sometimes, the hallway itself is the place we are meant to be.
